Women With A Vision has made history by fighting against Louisiana’s Crime Against Nature Statute, which targeted poor women of color, transgender women, and anyone forced to trade sex for food or a place to sleep at night, forcing them to register as sex offenders.
I went to their office more than once when I was in New Orleans and was really taken aback by how beautiful the space was, and the wonderful environment this org had created.
